After graduating with a BSc in Botany followed by a Diploma in Photography, I worked at the Dominion and Dominion Sunday Times in New Zealand.

I've been photographing gardens since 1997, particularly international contemporary garden design, working for magazines such as Gardens Illustrated House&GardenUK, and House&GardenUSA.

I photographed Home Farm, designed by Dan Pearson for the book of the same name (Ebury Press 2001), and Monty and Sarah Dons garden for their book 'The Jewel Garden' (Hodder&Stoughton '05).

Gardens by Design authored by Noel Kingsbury was published in March this year (Pavilion).
